Do you ever just stop and think about how Castiel was only supposed to be a small part of Supernatural? I mean, just really sit and think about all of your favorite Cas moments. Then think about all your favorite Destiel moments. They weren’t meant to happen. He was supposed to be a small character, just something to move the plot along before he was killed or simply disappeared. I get a little breathless when I think about it because we could have lost so much. Not only Castiel and Destiel, but Misha too- the charity work, gishwhes, his particular brand of weird humor, the mockumentary, live streams….so many things. Anyway, come cry with me about how lucky we are, and how we almost weren’t.
